Hey there!

So, I've spent the last few days tinkering around with my old website, trying to breathe new life into it. It’s been way too long since I last did anything like this on a daily basis. Let’s just say my web design skills are...a bit rusty. And, as expected, a lot of the tools I used to rely on have moved around or disappeared altogether. It’s a little overwhelming at times, and if I’m being honest, there were moments where I questioned whether this was worth it. But I pushed through and made some changes that, even though they may seem small, are exactly what I need right now.

It’s not perfect, but it fits my goals for the moment. I’m not looking for perfection; I just need a space where I can share a bit more than the typical quick scroll of social media posts. This place is for those who want to know a little more, see some photos, or just keep up with what’s going on in my world. Sure, it’s not as immediate or as convenient as logging into a platform where hundreds of followers are just a click away, but let’s be real—those platforms have become more about just a few familiar faces, anyway. I’ve noticed that the “feed” is often filled with the same handful of people, and if I'm being honest, I kind of like the idea of making this a little more intentional. It might mean fewer people will stumble across this, but the ones who truly care enough to seek me out will be able to. That feels...okay.

Would it be nice to turn this into something that could eventually become a passive income source? Absolutely. But right now, I’m just happy to be here, sharing a little more of myself without the pressure of trying to keep up with the latest platform algorithm. So, for those of you reading this, welcome to my digital book of babble. It’s a place for me to ramble on in my own way and space. It's raw, it's real, and it's definitely me.

On a completely different note, I’ve got some packing to do. Tomorrow’s relocation day. It’s always a little stressful, but I’m looking forward to getting everything in place, even though the process never quite gets easier because I keep buying more stuff.

One nice thing to look forward to, though, is a much-needed haircut. It’s been a couple of months now, and I didn’t realize just how much it had grown out until I caught a glimpse in the mirror. Short hair is the best—I love the ease of it, and even better, I’ve found a place that does affordable trims. I’m definitely overdue for a little clippy-clip. Of course I will post photos here when I am no longer a cotton ball.

Okay, I’ve gotta get to packing. I’ve got a show I want to catch tonight, and if I don’t get a move on, I’m going to miss out.

Sending love and good vibes, as always.

With all the luff in the world,

Me
